Our agent operates as a freelancer, with 20% upfront paid to them before the scouting and 80% paid after. Note, any payment request made after the 20% without completing the scouting will be denied and will result in automatic termination of the contract. Billy J Barclay

Billy J Barclay is a retired physiotherapist. His unique experiences as both an agent, physiotherapist professional football scout allow him to be the perfect mentor for our soccer apprentices and soccer agent advisors. Billy has been a successful agent for over 15 years. He began his career after completing SMWW's Athlete Management course and successfully passing the FIFA Agent Exam in 2004. He has represented clients in the EPL, La Liga, Bundesliga, MLS and other prominent leagues around the world. Billy has also worked as a professional football scout for almost 20 years. He has produced opposition analysis reports and individual player scouting analysis for Charlotte FC, LA Galaxy, Houston DYnamo FC, FC Cincinnati, Columbus Crew, Inter Miami Cf, New York Red bulls, Philadelphia Union and San Jose Earthquakes helping clubs achieve promotion and cup success. One of his scouting highlights was delivering an opposition analysis dossier on Orlando city that helped them win their first USL championship in 2011. Billy has a tremendous understanding of the business of soccer both on and off the field. His experience and network in both soccer scouting and agency makes him a fantastic person for player scouting.

Bret Kanis

Bret Kanis is a NBA Agent and Attorney with the Hightower Law Firm in Pensacola, Florida with over 20 years’ experience as a basketball agent. As a certified player agent with the National Basketball Players Association and a licensed attorney, he is able to represent professional basketball players in the NBA, G League and internationally. Over his career, Bret’s clients have received offers in over 25 countries. He has represented players from a wide range of colleges (including high major schools such as Arizona, Cincinnati, Iowa, Iowa State, North Carolina and Notre Dame). He has assisted many under-the-radar players in building successful professional basketball careers. Due to his worldwide connections, he has helped other agents in locating professional basketball opportunities for their clients and mentored agents new to the business. As an attorney, Bret has represented professional athletes in contract negotiations and contract disputes (including before FIBA’s Basketball Arbitrational Tribunal), advised agents in contract negotiations and disputes for their clients, and represented professional athletes with respect to their businesses and personal matters. Throughout his career, Bret has had the opportunity to work with Hall of Fame athletes, high-round draft picks, and Olympic Gold medalists in various capacities as an agent and attorney.

John Rice

John M Rice is an international soccer scout with experience at the highest level. That’s obviously an asset when it comes to spotting young talents. His ability to identify skillful players and design football programs in line with their needs is a quality that sets him apart from other football agents. John has a network of dedicated scouts operating on a local, national and international level. He often attends matches looking for the most suitable players, particularly in the 14-21 age bracket. He has the ability to  highlight a prospective player to our Recruitment Department.
John also collaborates with several elite clubs which allows him to find the most suitable club to each one of the academy players. He  recruits from each one of those clubs visit Soccer Interaction International Soccer Academy matches and training sessions on a regular basis. He assists the young talents by providing all the technical information requested by the clubs. He knows when the academy graduates will be ready for the demands of professional football.

Joel Corry

Joel was a Sports Agent for 16 years, representing NFL & NBA players. In 1992 at Management Plus Enterprises, who represented top-level athletes including Ronnie Lott, Hakeem Olajuwon and Shaquille O'Neal. Joel left Management Plus in 1995 to co-found Premier Sports and Entertainment, which focused on representing NFL players, college and NFL coaches. He was the primary and co-negotiator of numerous NFL player contracts, including Hall of Famer John Randle's 5-year, $ 32.5 million contract with the Minnesota Vikings (1998), Patrick Surtain's 6-year, $44.63 million contract with the Kansas City Chiefs (2005), which made Patrick the highest paid player in the franchise's history. Randle's contract made him the NFL's highest-paid defensive player with unprecedented guarantees that have become the norm in the most lucrative NFL contracts. Other Premier clients included Pro Bowlers Eric Allen, Keenan McCardell and Jimmy Smith. Joel served as a consultant with Management Plus for several years after starting Premier. As a consultant, he played an integral part in the negotiation of Shaquille O'Neal's Los Angeles Lakers contracts ($ 120 million over 7 years & subsequent 3-year, $ 88.3 million extension). In 2012, Joel became a contributing writer for the National Football Post. He uses his NFL salary cap and collective bargaining agreement knowledge to provide a perspective on player salaries, contract negotiations and the salary cap that is rarely seen in the media. In 2013, Joel began writing for CBSSports.com on similar topics, but for a larger audience. Joel also appears regularly on radio shows, including SiriusXM NFL Radio.
